BUT the packaged offers, in fact, only a first-generation SATA controller without Native Command Queuing, that is, the read / write heads of the HDD are not driven in the most efficient and can potentially wear out faster. This effect is of course impossible to quantify. When a backup disk whose data is not permanently change a large area after the initial filling, this should not carry weight. For an external worktop but I would rather take a SATAII housing.
