The bag completely fulfilled your purpose. It is firmly seated and the phone has no chance to slip out. The operation through the cover works without problems. An offensive odor is not noticed. The only drawback is that already by others mentioned, open top. When downpour should not jog with this bag you, as water may reach the phone. But otherwise clear recommendation!
