I set the timer for my Canon EOS 600D brought me to create time-lapse photography and am absolutely satisfied.
Image number, pause ratio, exposure time, etc. can be set directly on the unit and the last settings are saved. In a few minutes of inactivity, the device switches itself off automatically. When not using the batteries should be removed, because the timer has no on / off switch.
