The bag is made of finely grained (genuine) leather and makes a durable impression. Inside the bag is fully lined with soft suede. The floor is also slightly padded, on the back there is a fixed belt loop. The bag is of 2 magnetic closures (of a visible on the right side, visible on the left) is kept closed. This works quite well, I have no concern that the camera could easily fall out, especially since it (I have the SX260HS) something clamps even with the lid open in the envelope.
