Looking for a usable wireless control my surround speakers I found only three eligible products. In addition to the JBL WEM1 there are solutions of hell and KEF, which also downscale any boxes. Unfortunately devil requires a corresponding RCA output for surround signals, my amplifier has unfortunately not. The KEF solution costs nearly three times the JBL solution. It was not worth it to me. So JBL WEM1 ordered. Came as always super fast via Amazon. The transmitting and receiving parts are beautifully small and unobtrusive. Can easily "hide" the like "the woman of the house". Connection and placement walked quickly from equip. How anyone can have with the allocation of the power supply problem (see some Rezesion) is beyond me. It can not connect the wrong one. After connecting to the mains supply to the transmitter and receiver have immediately connected and were ready to start. After connecting a sound source to both parties immediately from Standby have switched to the operating mode and have played merrily. Interference from other wireless devices I could not make out. I did not need the ability to set a different transmission channel. Very good. In a Rezesion I've read that it would be cumbersome both parties always turn on when operating is desired. Well, ... clear, if one wants to save the ridiculous standby current (adjusting the desired volume via remote control a breeze. Prima. Noise is minimal yet, but really minimal and negligible in my opinion. We're not talking about an amplifier of 1000 - class. The whole product costs eventually less than 200, - and for me and my application is a great solution. I would recommend it definitely.
