Since the pin is also not really needed, I see it as a problem. The magnetic closure is quite strong for children, so you must move the lid possibly something to open it with your fingers can. Since the cover has enough game, but that is not really a problem. The on / off function works perfectly, with a slight delay when switching off. Overall for the price a great shell, available in many colors and the magnetic closure is still covered with a film, but can be removed easily. Would I buy again at any time (perhaps then for my own Paperwhite ...). A direct comparison to the original, I have not, but can not explain the more than three times the price of the stock right away.
