Positives:
- Super picture in HD and SD (also with an HD + card)
- Robust and attractive housing (very small for such a "Power receiver")
- Ingenious Software (Thanks to the VTI Image)
- Many ways by the plugin system
- Very fast switching times (even in HD!)
- Twin Tuner
- HDMI-CEC support (TV via HDMI switch, etc.)

Negative / Neutral:
- You need only a little "tinkering" until everything works as it should!

One must, of course, say it's not a receiver to one hinstellt and the works immediately,

But that's what makes the receiver particularly.

Thanks to the media player I can be,. B. access to my network shares on my NAS (and also on the NAS record!)

It is important that the same updated on a current software version after delivery, otherwise they could be out of date,
ie it could old, not so good driver installed -> so it can, cause that the image is not as good as.!

I can only recommend the receiver anyway!

For those who do not want to look far, my "must have plug-ins" for the VTI Image:
- Scam: This can be used, for example, the HD + card or use Sky (Attention: only H01 and H02 boards are supported!).
- Multiquick Button: Allows you to change the key assignments of the FB
- EPG Refresh: Allows the EPG is automatically renewed or the new information is loaded!
- Cool TV Guide: to replace probably the best plugin to the original EPG, my default view: Cool Tiny Guide
- VTI HDMI-CEC: Allows eg the receiver turn on the TV via HDMI, but the TV must support HDMI CEC.!
- Fritz Call: Call monitor for AVM Fritz! Box owners, so you get just who is calling a message

For all iOS / Android users: there is also a VU + app in the AppStore: "Vu + Player"
So you can watch TV on the smartphone / tablet!

And two little tricks that you need to know first (the pros already know the functions safely):
- If you press 0 on the remote control to switch between the last two stations, ideal for the commercial break :-)
- With the addition of 0, you can choose between the last 10 channels towards un switched ago

Meanwhile, I am still using 2 Raspberry Pi in the house as a "TV Streaming Client", which will also work perfectly!
As software on the Raspberry Pi OpenELEC is used (a small Linux with XBMC), here there are also directly a plugin for VU +!
Is really a beautiful thing, so you can save the embarrassment of the SAT-cables.

I'm definitely still as satisfied as the first day, the receiver runs just super!
