The adapter worked on my Win8.1 system with any of the I trial inlaid drives (whether HD or SSD with formatted data etc.). While when connecting to a USB interface of the system sound is played, but the external drive does not appear in the directory tree. For processing the box me this device is worth a star, but I fail the other four stars because of the missing functionality.
