I bought this product for icts Ability to connect different devices wirelessly. The connection is easy to set up and I can only recommend this hard drive.
I connected it to a Mac book Pro (Mid 2009), Mac Mini, iPad 3rd gen and an Android phone Nexus 4. So as far as I can tell it works with all OS.
