Possibility to take the picture immediately (in two steps, as the camera: by locking the exposure by pressing halfway and then triggering by pressing fully) or after two seconds (2 seconds self-timer function). It even has a lock function for long exposures.
I chose this model over another because of the length of the cable: 1.20 meters seems to me the best compromise. Not too long (some are 3 or 5 meters, then it is more convenient to use a wireless remote control, provided to be in front and not behind the camera) and not too short either. With 1.20 meters, I start with a lot of comfort, even if my tripod mounted to the maximum.
Perfect for the use for which it is intended.
