I have the pen over a year now in use for marking of blanks and he still writes as the 1st day. Many cheap products of unknown brands pins were often dried out after a few weeks or to use any more. Just when you only occasionally need to label discs you are in good hands with a long-life product. The chemical smell of the pen is relatively weak and dissipates very quickly.
To complain about there was only that after the paint to dry a little pale on the disc. But can still read well, ranging from easy to label.
