I have gained this docking station, because I some Sata hard drives - have lying around from discarded computers at home and want to continue to use this as a storage media for backups - both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch.

For precisely those needs the dock is perfect. I have previously tried a cable solution, which however did not convince (see other review from me).

To dock:
+ Read all previously attempted 2.5 "and 3.5" hard drives with me
+ On / off switch
+ Rubberized Standfüsschen
+ Solid and quality workmanship
+ LED lamp lights when activated / use

- The ON / OFF switch could be a little bigger, but that may be a matter of taste.

All in all I'm quite positively surprised by the good price / performance ratio.
