Without having read a review before I bought this unit because of its beautiful design and the 3-day weather forecast in a large business. The first device, however, had with me no reception, which surprised me, because I have set up as some radio clocks in my apartment. Smooth Exchange, next try. And then, as expected, the best reception.
After about 1-2 minutes, it showed the real time and the outside temperature, and after estimated 5 hours and the rest displayed as the weather forecast. What bothers me slightly, but is not essential - although there is a radio station, the time does not go down to the second. For me, the time is off by about half a minute. Manual can be obviously time does not adjust.
A maximum distance of 1.5 m between the outdoor sensor and base station is of course complete nonsense, what is alleged here. My outdoor sensor (thermometer) is wrapped in plastic (home-made raincover) on the roof free balcony at a distance of about 5 m to basestation. In between is a thick concrete wall. The outside temperature is easily, without interruption, appears.
The unit I now own over 3 weeks, and so far voted even the predicted weather conditions. The internal temperature is displayed exactly as it is identical to the indicated temperatures my radio clocks (with temperature gauge). The outside temperature is also in line with the value of my old weather station. The device looks jewelry, is easy. It can be mounted or placed against the wall. The batteries for the base station are unusual, but are at least been attached with me, although these would not be included, according to package it. Except for the somewhat imprecise time I am with this weather station so far very satisfied.
Update 2 months later:
I have now serious doubts about the accuracy of the external thermometer. Temperatures soft one hand on my aged predecessor and the other hand on the weather app on my smartphone equal to several degrees Celsius. Also, it showed me 2 times deliberately at a higher value, as I experienced it myself.
