For model Moto G, the shape of the glass is a shorter hair as the phone, for a problem-free investment. There is a single hole in the glass, to the earpiece. The camera does not have a hole, it is covered (protected) by the glass. This does not interfere with image capture.
For installation, the instructions are clear and effective:
- Clean using the cloth dampened with alcohol provided.
- Wipe with tissue provided.
- Collect dust that fall with the stickers provided. To locate the dust, it works well to look to flower, towards a light. Try to do that in a non-dusty (and humid, it helps).
- Install protection after removing the protective filter. Do not worry too much about alignment, it corrects itself. For bonding without bubbles, press center of the glass, without rubbing, just push, and we see the glue "take" from the center to the edges. Awesome!
- If bubbles form still the edge, using the spatula provided. If necessary, raise a little edge and press from the center.
- There is still time to align the glass. My installation was not entirely done right but just after the break there way to turn and / or slide with your fingers to guide it properly. Super convenient for maniacs like me.
Overall convinced, but a negative point: it is "only" tempered glass, Corning Gorilla Glass not like the phone. Conséqence: it is much faster scratch (mine already has its claws few). The advantage is that if it becomes too scratched just change the protection. Not too often anyway because it's expensive!
