I bought this shell along with my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. Meanwhile another that was supposed to arrive later. And as I really am head in the air, I need protection for several days. It protects well, that no complaints.
But it really is not aesthetic. I took the clear because I wanted to enjoy the color (black) my phone. But it was clear a perfect contact between the silicone shell and telephone. If that looked as if someone had put water. Not very nice.
Otherwise it is a bit cumbersome. Slips badly in the pocket (silicone).
For the price it's worth the cost if you want to protect it for a short time. But if you want to use it for several months I would advise against it.
