In addition, was the statement, the device would indeed also work with 2A.
The problem is that there are hard drives that require at least a starting current over 2A, therefore would 5A been fine - but that is obtained not with the LogiLink.
The support whatsoever responds only to some of the questions and then also wrong.
It was, for example, about the difference between AU0006C and AU0006D.
Many traders still apply AU0006C - but then deliver AU0006D - as in my case - ordered C / D obtained.
The difference is now a new chipset for ... D be the support even more hard drives as C ...
What is the maximum size for ... C was and which now applies to ... D I got still not answered, despite several questions!
We were told at ... C it would have been 2 TB. The question, however, was what it was ... with C and how much it is now with ... D!
In any case, pressing the manufacturers to its responsibilities. It remains the customer's problem, either you pay for return shipping just yourself (which is not worth at 10.74 euros purchase price) or you're just discarded and throws even here money down the drain.
So you do not deal with customers - never buy something from LogiLink !!
Nothing but trouble and unnecessary expense.
