My criteria for a sheath were:
Extreme accurately fitting: I have seen a case for iPhone 4 with a work colleague, concealed what parts of the edge of the screen. In addition, the keyboard was difficult to operate because the edges of the displays were covered by leather. The leather cover was also still quite thick and was therefore on. Also the ports on the back, the cutout for the camera and the controls on the side (volume, silent button, on / off switches) should continue to be properly operated.
The envelope should not appear cheap, but a high-quality impression (appearance & feel) convey.
The thickness of it Iphone 5 should be retained if possible.

Some reviews on Amazon were talking about a bad positioning of the recesses, which is why I have ordered this envelope hesitantly. In the local stores but there was only Plastikbumper, no leather cases. I can not confirm this impression and have uploaded several photos which prove that the notches fit perfectly. Neither the speaker nor the microphone or the Lightning connector are even vaguely obscured. The cutout for the camera on the back is tailored. Based on the experience with the shell of the iPhone 4 (from other manufacturers), I was very skeptical in the superimposition of the display. Also I have uploaded a photo. It is obscured not one mm of the display and the keyboard can also be in the peripheral areas still operate optimally. 5 *
The cover makes both visually and haptically a very good impression! The leather is in pressure very slightly and thus gives a certain softness. The leather feels beautifully structured and the insides are lined with a soft fabric. The seams are straight and not frayed. Only a little glue was perceived in the first few days at the interface of the credit card compartment. Now this is about 90% off (on its own). 4 *
The thickness of the iPhone 5 is of course a bit more extensive than non-enveloped, however, a total of about 1.9 cm thick. It feels very comfortable and have a good, not applied to. In your pocket, I do not feel a big block around carry. 5 *

Overall, I can only recommend the sleeve. All other persons who have the envelope previously seen and touched, were voted positively.
