Another yoga mat, which I had to buy out of necessity in Lebanon at the time (I was on a long trip and forgot my mat at home) is comparable or even worth mentioning in any way with this. This however, but I could see large differences between individual producers and products and learn to love my mat.
Yoga accompanies me every day for about 1,5 - 2 hours. She does everything with me: From Prana to Asana, Hata to flow, folded or rolled, hand washed or machine washed. From America to Hong Kong. My mat is my most loyal companion.
They endured me every day without complaining!
Ca bimonthly I put them in the washing machine.
What she likes: cold wash in the machine or hand wash
Spin at 800 tours
For Drying on the leash hang
What she does not like: to be damp or curled to lie in the sun. Machine wash at 30 degrees or more. Grmpfl!
I put myself in the meantime, more mats of other manufacturers, but always come back to my first.
Light: The price: unbeatable
Durability: Outstanding
Weight: Not hard
Slip resistance: I really sweating because I exercise at about 30-40 degrees and a lot of work with my power.
The mat keeps me in any position.
Caution: If the mat lying on a blank polish marble floor and you have one foot on the wall - and the
another is on the mat - and you push yourself off the base of the wall, so it may be that de mat slipping! Laughter!
Shadows: The mat stinks! After "freshly cooked" rubber. The smell goes but after 1-2 weeks.
But no matter which mat I bought so far, smelled all have similar ..
Let it air out before first use. In addition, my mat was delivered in a slightly greasy condition.
So, as it had been oiled to prevent sticking together, which is why probably slipped some reviewers on the mat. But even among us: Who settles on a new, unwashed, slightly oiled mat.
PS: I'm going to again buy myself the same model in Kiwi Green. Should I find serious quality differences between olive and kiwi, I share it with you, of course.
