Then I thought to myself: "Who can read is a clear advantage in!" - So RTFM (Read the F *** Manual) - Only see Manual - more on that later - and there was also: Download Only driver, then be happy!
So it was almost. Normally Express cards snap. This did not do that. Either the slot on my laptop is too small or the card exactly matching, so that a "snap" is not working. So I had to find the right position "by feel" - and not to "click".
After that, everything was great - works much faster than the internal SD Reader, which is internally connected only as USB2 and thus can read only with USB2 speed. This is faster by at least a factor of 2-3 (even when used with TrueCrypt on encrypted volumes).
In the end, exactly what I had expected of it - just an hour troubleshooting I would have liked to avoid. - The reference to the driver was clearly in the "kit-carton" of the blister pack when you unfold the cardboard, then the reference is clear, albeit in small print, on the left side. With reading glasses clearly visible ... ;-)
If it goes then, it's great!

Supplement for a par weeks of intensive use: The device is completely unobtrusive. It just works smoothly and fast. I've corrected the Bewertnug to 5 star.
