Gamers and people have many programs running at once, will be delighted by Norton. Once a program is started, which needs more resources, or is started in full screen (games, movies) Norton turned in a resource-saving mode. The PC is still well protected and hard drives will continue to be searched.
Norton created a list of programs that are launched regularly. If this were a couple of times checked and deemed safe, they are classified as trusting in the next run.
This saves a lot of time at a complete check of the system.
However, if something changes in the program (eg the .exe), the "full trust" status is reset.
Clearly this year's winner of the antivirus!
