Its a very thin laptop with a great display and very quick response time. I should say That I do not run gaming programs or resource intensive programs, so I can not give good advice Regarding that. I Can Say That It loads Excel, Word, Chrome, Windows 8, and iTunes very quickly.
The keyboard is very comfortable and even though the layout is German, I found a great function That Allows me to switch the keys to the English layout. Since I type by touch, it's like an English Basically layout with the ability to seamlessly switch Back and Forth between German and English.
The battery life has been no problem, HOWEVER I rarely use it for more than a couple hours off the plug.
The aluminum body feel very durable and substantial, but the weight is very light. They've done a great job, making it feel like it Could take a beating, but thus keeping it comfortable on your lap in bed as well. I read about the problem of fingerprints before I purchase, but it hasnt been much of a problem for me. Sometimes you can see a few prints, But They seem to Easily wipe away.
The sound is not going to blow you away, but I after changing some of the initial settings, the loudness and quality come in a bit better than originally configured. If I want good quality audio, I just connect the laptop to my Bluetooth Bose SoundLink and let indeed handle the audio.
I'm looking very forward to the next free Windows update, Because I'm really not a fan of the interface They use in Windows. 8
