Here in a nutshell, my first impression:
positively
+ Reasonable price (25 Euro)
+ Seems well made
+ Nice display
+ You can program the remote control for the PC
+ Manual device works relatively simple
+ Buttons are illuminated
negative
- The establishment of the PC is far from optimal (as Logitech is clearly better!)
- The database from One For All is quite dated (again, Logitech is clearly better)
- HDMI sources can not be dialed directly (why not?)
- The feel is rather moderate
- The keys are not gummed but everything from plastic
- The number buttons are too small
- The unpleasant imho piano lacquer look (but that may be a matter of taste)
All in all, I give a buy recommendation, because the Xsight Plus is the 25 euros definitely worth quite a bit and you can do with it. In some areas, One For All would, however, make improvements, such as. In the PC software that seems unnecessarily complicated and ill-conceived. Even the database is out of date. With Logitech that everything goes much better. But the latter are unfortunately rather over-priced and the part of the hardware associated with some quirks. So at least my Harmony 555. As I said, for 25 euros you do with the Xsight Plus certainly nothing wrong. Much more, however, I would not spend it.
Update from 09:01:15
after a few months I'm quite happy with the remote and I forgive 3.5 rather than just 3 stars. As a nuisance but I feel it still, that you have to use for setting up the PC mandatory Internet Explorer. Ever will the software be the weakness because outdated and too few options. When. The device for a maximum Can get 30 euros, then I speak from a strong buy recommendation. But if Double is required, then provides the XSigt Plus imho just not enough ...
