The boxes make of the processing and of the materials used for very high-quality impression. They are matt black and partly sold in high-gloss finish. That looks very good and high quality. The speaker protection can be removed. It is nice that you etc directly into one of the two boxes and a pair of headphones or iPod / DS / Game could insert from the front.
The box has three controls, one for bass, treble and volume / on / off. I have yet to get used to a bit of the sound. My old boxes were concerning the sound rather dull and slightly darker.
The T40 me a bit too much treble are almost there, but the sound is always a matter of taste. Since I have to go a little one with my Equilizereinstellung experiment PC, until I found my sound. You have to however actually ever make. Is like the seasoning of food. Everyone likes it a bit different.
The sound itself is very brilliant and precise. Really very good quality. The treble / midrange and bass are well separated and balanced, which could be a bit more midrange. My old separate subwoofer I do not miss. The speakers have a full, rich bass for techno fans probably could but be a little bit more.
One hears now in MP3 recordings so do not have a high resolution, that the quality of the recording to be desired leaves. In my old boxes that is not so noticed. This precision in sound like it very much. It is not a slush but nicely differentiated and divided. You can hear exactly on which side plays which instrument and it's not just a mush. I hear a lot of jazz and they sound really good. You can hear exactly how an instrument from one side to the other side runs so great already. It's really fun to listen to music with it. Trace its music library. At least I, because I have not had good pit.
In both quieter and louder in volume convince. The screening of the boxes is very good. If my phone earlier about 50 cm away was by the old boxes, I always had this buzzing in the box. Even if it was out of range and you could hear so nothing ever announced in the boxes at a Handygesräch before the phone rang at all.
This is here not so. Even when the phone is in front of the box, no disturbance is there not for incoming calls. Likewise, the boxes do not interfere with the monitor screen, which is also very important. No matter how loud they are turning up.
What bothers me a little is their size. Did not think that is quite high. Ok, there are no debris, who but the small speaker is used, it must first get used to the narrow, slightly larger columns on the desk. After all, almost 33cm high, yet very stable. My old one had almost to be careful that no Druchzug was otherwise fell to :).
In my opinion, partly the cable are a bit too short. The cable, which connects the two boxes together, could have been a bit longer for my taste. I would have asked the pit like a little more space between them. It is I think about 2 m long.
Even the cable running out of the box to the power supply, could have been a little longer. But these are things that one can live.

The full credit there are not, and for the following reasons. The cable could be a bit longer, the power supply is a bit more modern (st quite clunky) and unfortunately it also consumes when switched off for about 6 watts. Is not much but should no longer actually be necessary. Is made out.
