quite usable, but ....

To purchase decision was the nüvi 1490 "against the Navigon 8410". If you believe the recession, currently the main difference lies with the errors between the two devices is that in the 8410 the TMC as well as not working and get off after about 3 hours at 1490. The service at Navigon will be very bad. Important I found the large display for me. In multimedia components I put no value.

Now for my experience:
+ Destination input via town / street works without problems
+ Re-route is very fast

- Destination input via the card is really just awful. The card pops partially easily back and forth
- TMC icon is often gray, despite receiving. This issue is currently being edited but with Garmin
- POI not on the map while driving can be seen
- Partially strange announcements to motorway junctions, If I have the choice of a motorway junction to proceed between A67 and A5, it can not be that I get told, "Continue on 26". or "continue on 6". If you are not familiar, you know nothing at all to do with it. I say again that no driver is based on a motorway junction on the exit numbers but on the highway numbers.
