Features:
The Bluetooth connection is working without problems, the coupling with my Galaxy S4 made no difficulties (it is to activate the smartphone Bluetooth and then to connect with Sony Automotive). Both play music from your smartphone, as well as making phone calls via Bluetooth are stable and with very good quality. Is your smartphone connected, the phone features can be controlled from the radio. Voice quality on the radio microphone and the car speakers is excellent, and the called persons confirmed to me a very good voice quality.
The USB port is pleasantly stable built and completely submerged, the stick therefore does not wobble. For this stability also ensures that USB and AUX port are not installed in the device itself and on the control panel. The playback of MP3s also here runs stably and smoothly.
The sound is clear and crisp, powerful bass and good treble. In equalizer can either be resorted back to more defaults or the values of low, mid and treble can be adjusted and stored manually.
The control panel can be removed for security. Slimming is a beginning but a bit hakelig and stiff before, but you get used to it and then it just goes out of hand. One just needs to pull a little stronger (there's nothing broken in), but the control panel does not fall down even accidentally.
Installation:
Installation is simple and basically to accomplish quickly even for the novice. The support frame is in the radio slot and the metal tabs are pressed purely for fixing, the supplied adapter cable is plugged into the radio and the cable from the car, connect the antenna cable and lowered the radio in the shaft. All parts are processed appropriately and high quality.
For the antenna cable Sony offers a DIN socket on the rear; depending on how long is the antenna cable of the vehicle, possibly an extension cord is necessary. So I recommend the length of the antenna built into the vehicle power cable to check beforehand, it should be a piece far enough from the radio slot out, so that you can problem free plug it into the jack on the radio. Otherwise, ordered an extension cord with.
In addition, it may be in some vehicles that the radio does not immediately have continuous current and the stored settings are deleted when you remove the key. This was in my car (Corsa), for example, like this. The solution in this case is the Umstöpseln two cables to the auxiliary power connector. These are the red and the yellow power cord; they must be repositioned to yellow to red each from yellow to red and yellow to red. Then everything works without problems.
Conclusion:
I like the radio very well, as it offers many features at a reasonable price. Installation and operation are simple, the sound is clear and strong.
