The XXL sandwich toaster is really XXL. However, the XXL refers merely to the fact that at the same time 8 (normal size for German standards) Sandwich corners can be prepared and not that well XXL slices of toast (American slices of bread) can be prepared. Fortunately, the manual is short and crisp and easy to understand, including the evidence of caution, unit is hot, ensure stability, etc. Have to use does not exist. remove the packaging at the first use and wipe shortly. Plug in, the heating plates grease, cover with the slices of bread. The red light indicates that the device is connected to the circuit (there is no special on / off switch), the green light means that the appliance is heating up, then this light goes out (to reheat again if necessary and to go on). Close and lock device. Within a short time the sandwiches are done (here must be taken own eye contact in order to achieve the desired level of browning, which I do of all sandwich makers know the only way). After use, the power plug from the electrical circuit disconnect and set to cool off before cleaning.
I must say that Porzellanheizplatten can be truly amazing good clean. Simply clean with a damp cloth or sponge (soft side). Everything dissolved easily. Clear are some corners (and XXL are just a few more * wink *) disturbing, but as you get possibly well with the dish brush ran. Then I got it wiped dry. This also were pure really all corners, I've followed the hot plates with a spray bottle easily sprayed, clamped a cloth and placed in between the device to run on the head. After I had done that on both sides, I have the device only dried. Actually everything happened very easily.
I highly recommend this device. If, in a single operation produces more sandwiches and the pack is served faster. The only downer is that it unfortunately does not go well with the great American sandwich slices of bread (unless you equipped him only halfway and lives with a somewhat different appearance) and that is precisely XXL also refers to the cleaning surface. Who (still like me) can live with it, get a good sandwich maker for little money.
