The Razer Synapse software installs itself (no driver CD, internet since installation as usual).
The configuration of the slice 6 keys that make the specificity of the Naga Hex is both simple and comprehensive, with the ability to define multiple profiles, associate programs (not just games), macros and functions or windows just the traditional functions of other mice (forward / backward ...). The mouse thus provides an additional significant comfort. I used macros copy / paste on my G510 keyboard, I hastened to put them on the mouse. The time savings is undeniable.
Furthermore we quickly shabitue available in a circle of buttons once the mapping done.
The only downside has already been mentioned in several comments: this mouse is much smaller than it appears and even with short fingers thumb tends to rest on the 2 (the most advanced) and not on the mark in the center of the 6 buttons. It will therefore be "re-educated" to place the thumb there, not very "natural" because it means that it will take a little bend the finger.
That said, the buttons are well designed, push over a minimum so we did not risk too much to click by mistake.
Second criticism is true for all Razer: fragility. Nice design but it will not be big drop to damage the mouse.
The cable is always braided, providing good glide. But if ever you take it on an edge of the table or stuck, you may damage the contacts so it will take care.
Question sensitivity, Naga is in the high average, less reactive than the Imperator still, which does not matter. We did not really need to 6400dpi, 5600dpi of the Naga more amply sufficient to play. Synapse also makes it possible to define sensitivity levels and accelerate the cursor movement.
And finally, the design and the red backlight are beautiful. For those that would impede, the lighting of the wheel and the Razer symbol are deactivated independently.
If you are looking for a mouse-oriented macro, whatever games you play, the Naga Hex is a great choice. Even simple office will save you time once tamed ...
