I have enjoyed myself advertised as a tester in the test campaign of Philips Senso Touch RQ1187, because I have a very sensitive skin shaving. Razor burn was so far with me on the agenda. Therefore every shave cost me overcome. As a rule, there was therefore only every two to three days a shave.

Design
The design is attractive and very athletic. The front consists of a high-gloss blue fitted with silver stripes surface, but after a week shows that it is easily scratched. The back is made of hard plastic, which is provided with a ribbed rubber edging that will provide the necessary grip. The shape of the shaver is ergonomically and thus this lightweight is very comfortable to hold. When dry, the device has a very good grip, but when wet and in the shower you have to aware grab the ridged rubber framing so that the unit does not accidentally slips out of your hand. This is a weak point, which could be handled better. But if you know it, then you can come with it pretty well clear.
Now to some technical aspects:
Charging function
The charging station is very good. You can easily combine small. Good solution I also find that the razor can be placed in the charging station with a simple handle. And just before the hour, the device is fully charged.
But what if you forget to charge the device and there is an urgent need in the morning?
No problem: just put about 10 minutes in the charging station and all it takes is the existing charge for a complete shave off. After but do not forget to put the unit back into the charging station, otherwise you risk the next morning the same procedure.
For home the solution to the charging station is top. However, anyone who is frequently on the road and have to stow the razor along with the charger again, would probably better to make friends with a simple cable connection.
Shave:
The three shaving rotors on the shaving head are each for easily movable by a fine suspension and adapt to the contour of the face so hervorraend on. In addition, the entire shaving head is movable in itself, so that here again there is a good fit to the facial contour. My impression is that that is solved with this device very well.
The sound is a dynamic whirring that the sporty and dynamic character of this device highlights.
Dry shaving
I only ate a dry shave tried, but this ended very quickly because my sensitive skin so did not get along. It turns back on a razor bumps.
Wet shave
But then the wet-shaving. And convinced me completely.
The shaving head glides smoothly over the skin and with just a few movements I got the impression of a close shave. Only below the chin also has this shaving head shown slight weakness during shaving, so I had nachrasieren at this point once again in more detail.
For me, the most convincing feature, however, was that I received a very smooth shave in addition to a close shave. On the first day there was a slight razor bumps hired, but was by shaving to shave less and less.
The cleaning of the shaving head is easy and familiar for Philips users, but others shaver work from the Philips family with similar shaving heads. Simply hold under the spray of wash basin or shower, and in an instant the shaving head is like new again.
For Philips newcomers the attaching and detaching of the shaving head can be a bit fiddly at first. This model also is something difficult that the shaving head has a little nose that must be precisely inserted into the holder. A small triangle on the front of the razor indicates this position.
Also, the removal of the individual shear rotors is not a problem. Only the construction of the green terminal structure to secure the rotors affects delicate and fragile. I'm curious to see how long it lasts.

I was surprised that the user is not a thick manual. The reason is found quickly. Philips is content with images and provides no textual manual. This saves the translation into the various languages. For me, the pictures were easy to accomplish by, probably because I am familiar with Philips shavers. Difficult it may be among those who are not familiar with Philips or come because of their age poor cope with the illustrated manual. Furthermore, the figures are so small that people with poor eyesight should also have their problems with it.
Otherwise, I think the clever wordless instructions. She was more than adequate for me.
Summary
Looking for a good razor, the last deal also sensitive to my skin, I started as a tester skeptical and have now let me convince you of this device and its good performance.
Do I make myself earlier only once every two or three days shaved to avoid razor burn, I shave now with this device sometimes only every two days, because shaving is so thoroughly that it's still okay for me on the second day ,
I can imagine that in the premium class, the quality of the unit and the shaving is even better, but this device convinced me in the price-performance ratio very.
Those looking for an affordable shaving and at the same time will have convincing performance, is certainly well equipped with this Philips shaver.
I for one will be happy to stay with this device and send all my other razors into retirement.
Why 'only' four stars? - Because the unit in the execution and in the shaving quality could be better, to earn maximum points and rightly so.
