I ordered this box to be mounted inside an SSD externally.
The case is beautiful, clean design, no angle.
He arrives home well protected, packed in a plastic bag to prevent scratches during transport and in a sturdy cardboard box.
In this box he has his little floor and below there is the cable and the manual. Obviously the manufacturer is very serious and is that the equipment reaches you in the best possible conditions. I appreciate.
It comes with a thick USB cable about 50cm. I think it is shielded.
To remove the box, take it flat in the hand (with the logo Inateck top) and through support successively left and right bottom corner of the box cover will detach.
Please note that the part that separates does not include USB3 port. It is a fine portion of about 3 to 5 mm.
In its design, the manufacturer has provided mobile use that fits easily in a pocket. This is why it has no rubber feet, just shapes molded skates in the plastic.
Personally I use it in external auxiliary drive for heavy applications.
So to make it "stick" to the surfaces I added 4 small silicone pads.
The disc I put SSDNow is a 300. I do not need to add the second wedging foam, it was perfectly adjusted.
The small switch is really handy and indispensable on this type of storage to avoid false contacts of a USB plug.
I am very satisfied. So satisfied that I ordered a second for another post.
PS: Following the relevant comment of an Amazon customer (Roudoudou) I inform you that the SSDNow 300 does not pass the test TrimCheck.
So if it is intended for heavy use (for example, mounted on a server) can degrade and diminish its capacity.
Personally I use it to save backups USB2 and all is well.
