The Sony supplied NiMH AA 2500 have always full power until the very end. When operating in the external flash (Metz Mecablitz 44 AF), they are sufficient for over 350 flashes a four batteries. Use the flash often - to concert and event photography as well as to other shootings on digital SLR. In addition, I also use another six of Sony NiMH AA 2500 in battery grip the camera. This is then applied to the 3000 photos and more per session in gigabytes area possible - total benefits to which you can rely.
The batteries are fast rechargeable and have my experience, no memory effect.
Due to repeated recharges under different discharge conditions of the battery in a Sony Quick Charger, I could make this a good experience. Moreover, the batteries have a long storage attitude of their energy capacity if they are no longer used.
I am very happy with the battery and look forward every time on these little helpers.
UPDATE March 10, 2010 >>> I work with in 2007 purchased here Sony batteries still and can no difference to new state recognized - what a joy. Even if they are unused for longer, take pictures from the charger and off to. This positive fact one notices only when you have to give other known good battery (other brands) in the waste. Look at one, this rascal - either I had the luck batch or Sony batteries are better :-) NOTING I want but also praise the Eneloop rechargeable batteries, which are also really top.
