I bought this antenna to a longer-term failure of the connection to the home antenna to bridge (on the roof). This (neither ZDF nor RTL and others), the situation was such that the DVB-T, despite a central location in a major city is received on the 1st floor of an apartment building so weak that with a standard DVB-T mini rod antenna only a few stations to receive goods. After it with a - to be able to see a delegated RTL international game - quickly after proper instruction homemade simple antenna was already possible to receive again ZDF and RTL with low level while the reception nevertheless too weak even for various other programs was, were with connection of Telestar Antenna again to receive 3 immediately any programs that were saved from the operation via the house antenna in DVB-T receiver. The reception performance of the antenna, which was not even there, but only assembled here near a window inside the home, for me is therefore convincing. However, this of course only as long as the antenna is powered (without power almost no reception). If the receiver or the digital TV does not have a 12V DC output, therefore the supplied power inserter must be powered with an AC adapter. The installation of the antenna is self-explanatory and the supplied mounting kit contains the wall - necessary or pole mounting hardware. In that regard, in my opinion, 5 stars for such a product at this price is fully justified.
Since the antenna is intended for both indoor and outdoor installation, it would be - as far been accurately stated in another review - actually nicer if the connection cable would also be supplied to the antenna in white (and not, as supplied) in black, which would make itself at an outdoor assembly and passing the cable through window / wall well visually better. With respect to an outdoor installation you should in the event that the power supply can not be done on the receiver, also be aware that the included coaxial-cable for the antenna (at the antenna screwed LNB F-connector, on the other side coax antenna connector), which sits between the antenna and the 12V power inserter, only well 1m long. If the power inserter therefore should remain inside the building, which seems to make sense in terms of moisture and required for the AC adapter power supply remains when the supplied cable due to its relatively short length after carrying out the front wall of the positioning of the antenna only a correspondingly less leeway.
