As today (04.12.2014) the product arrived and I unpacked it, I was quite amazed. The cover is sturdy and looks good. It's also not that hard, it weighs just 112 g. A nasty smell I could not tell.
The Kindle Paperwhite fits perfectly into it (see customer photos). The Kindle Paperwhite is simply clicked into the plastic shell. It will not budge - nothing wobbles or slackens around. If you want to remove this device from the shell, so that's a bit of fumbling, but it works.
I especially like the Sleep / Wake function. Once you close the shell is the screen to sleep and when you open the lid goes on the screen and asks me for a password on (which I have set for safety reasons).
The price is the hammer and the Kindle Paperwhite envelope in my opinion is highly recommended.
