This inverter is first compact and relatively light (this is important when it must be installed in height). Installation is fast and simple, few connections to be made, all very well explained by the manual. I took two, one for a server and connectivity (switch, router, modem) and another to protect two Synology NAS (DS-509 and DS-1511 + +). At start of the inverter, the LCD shows in successive pressure on the control buttons, the input voltage, output, the charge level of the battery and the percentage of use of the inverter. As for the server, once the UPS software installed allows to configure the inverter, the actions to be taken automatically to the server in case of power failure, ... In terms of NAS, USB cable from the inverter is directly connected to the most recent (1511+), this then allows the sharing of information from the inverter with the other NAS. Thus, a single inverter can drive the automatic shutdown of two NAS. Tested from end to end (power failure simulation, micro-cuts, ...) UPS proved to par with perfect communication between the UPS and the protected element. The pros: Compact Easy installation and handling Readable and informative LCD display Compatibility with Synology NAS
The -: The software Powerchute somewhat limited: no possibility of sharing the management of the UPS with other computers.
