So I ordered directly together a corresponding hot shoe adapter, because the receiver would otherwise not fit on my Sony Alpha 55.
When both parts were delivered yesterday, I noticed to my great amazement and joy that the recipient already owns the for Sony Alpha mating terminal - the adapter was therefore unnecessary (I still keep him because he might yet again be useful) ,
You put the part and it snaps into place. But If you want to solve it again, the problems begin. Still standing on the narrow side printed: "Unlock" - including directional arrow. But there is no longer a thumbwheel to release the receiver. Who would now come up with the idea to accomplish by rotating the entire receiver in dissolution, is just looking for some force a few more broken plastic parts in his hand - the imprint is in fact meaningless and the new terminal is a bad design. You can only back him solve if one with a very small screwdriver (or approximately equivalent) the locking pin depresses (which goes relatively well). Or you can let the receiver up to the end of days off.
Three points off because of wrong print and the old manual that does not address the new hot shoe, a coarse failure are (otherwise the thing would get full marks from me).
