I use this tripod in conjunction with a Canon G25 along with plug-on.
The build quality is impeccable, all the parts properly anodised and scratch resistant. No burrs or sharp edges. The assembly and commissioning done without guidance in a few minutes.
The purpose of the ball head above the handle has not yet been opened up to me, it can be easily removed but including there is a 1/4 "thread that can be screwed directly into the plate. This is all a little more stable.
Three counterweights and four mounting points for the counterweight allow accurate balancing of the whole unit.
The only complaint: A fixation point for the part with the counterweights is too little, the screw loosens quickly. I've resorted to a second screw with locking nut, now holds bombproof.
All in all, highly recommended for this price: Buy Now!
