I ordered for Christmas is "Infrared" filter for the 62 mm Hoya (the real IR) was too expensive for my taste.
I therefore order with their Polaroid because I bought it a few months ago on the other filter (CPL, Neon, UV) and they work well veeeeeery so it should not have worried.
Already an infrared filter that is 720 nm in the infrared said visible but does not filter below wavelength of 720 so there should not be any green (green becoming white infrared seen taking).
Then the exposure time with a 50mm f / 1.4 during the day with a good sun must be between 1 minutes and 30 seconds.
Here, I used the 18-55 (f3.5 / 5.6) and I exposed for 1 second !!! above it was over-exposed. So already the first problem (unless my Nikon D3200 has no bandwidth Infrared sensor on BUT I doubt it) ...
Then post processing, I open my photo in Lightroom, I make a white balance on the foliage which is a so-called neutral color must therefore have slightly foliage white / blue and the sky "brown" But the actual result with this filter is ... a picture without any filter with a strong dévalement colors ... (I enclose the photo without treatment and with treatment)
So verdict I do not know if it is a manufacturing defect or if it really is a filter IR filter provided you take a filter 48 mm (smaller and therefore less expensive to thus manufactured true quality) but one thing is certain gentlemen ladies, past your way, this is not a infrared filter is at most a dark red filter No need!
