I already have several pairs of shoes the company Red Wing, of which I am thrilled completely, and now looking for something more elegant for this year's autumn / winter, so my choice fell on the Beckman 9016 in nice brown. These boots are dedicated to the founder of the US firm, Karl Beckman, who emigrated to the US and there founded this legendary shoe company. The free processing is used at the highest level, the leather (Cigar Featherstone) feels very sturdy, high-quality and durable, but adapts surprisingly fast the wearer's foot on. These boots are made both inside and outside leather, cork the profiled Commando-sole is also partly made of leather and can be as usual after intensive use in Red Wing renew. The robust construction (the welted sole is composed by Goodyear welt method) are designed these boots for a long service life. As with all Red Wings have to be prepared for a run-in phase, which will vary depending on the carrier, but worth the wait: then you get a customized, beautiful boots, the Kadett quickly became a faithful companion. The Beckmans any outfit the perfect finish and can be as good as combine excellently with everything. The sizes: this model is a half size larger than what you should observe. Normally I wear eg a 44.5, here fits the 44 perfectly. The shoes are cut rather narrow and long, but adapt - as already mentioned - the wonderful own needs. I can criticize the waxed laces that be a little too short, seem a bit cheap and not really give a good grip, so I have this replaced by colored laces known from the 875 or 3139. Furthermore, the tongue is directly sutured and the quite high: through the narrow opening to get into the 9016 only by means of a shoe spoon clean. Also, I can well imagine that the tongue in which one or the other could cause complications, because by the lace folds and can easily cause uncomfortable pressure points. However, the bleating at a high level, because the overall picture of Beckmans is terrific, so I can recommend these shoes in full to all interested parties. Although the price may seem daunting, but such a high quality can be found nowadays almost impossible, so these boots are each worth in the end.
