The power consumption will of course vary depending on the application. When writing the newest EVO pulls with 250GB only 1.7W, while the previous model 3.1W and the MX100 approved to 3.2W. One sees clearly that the power consumption has been greatly reduced by the new 3D cells. This is the decisive advantage and also the essential argument for a 250 EVO for me.

The EVO latest design is optimal for mobile devices, and Samsung seems to have done its homework. Miracles can and can not expect from the new SSD generations.
