Reinventing the food processor? As Philips has come up properly with something new!

As a classic food processor I would not call this device, because the use of batter I find rather sub-optimal --- due to the low volume and slightly unusual way of kneading / Mix-hook and Quirrlplatte. Nevertheless, after two weeks of use is clear: The stops on the sideboard and is gathering dust in the closet or nciht in the chamber! ;-)

The biggest advantage of the food processor but is that it only has one drive and therefore is very compact in size. The quality of workmanship of all parts, I feel very good. It rattles nothing, it is not extremely noisy and has a good grip. From the email looks not to mention ...

For me, this food processor is primarily as a Shaker in use and it works really really good and fun. When we have a smoothie wellness action started last week, I had the 2 "normal" shakers yet to put these and thus mixed 5 full container apricot and carrot smoothie. What positive noticed: The pot drips not as bad as similar glass shaker flasks (Gastronomy). The attachment of the mix-diameter works well while you have been tinkering with the Gastro-shakers somewhat when unscrewing the blade unit with sealing and fixing the bottom (for cleaning).

Whatever the type of operation, or of assembling the parts is very intuitive and the special gimmick: The unit can be operated in 2 steps, and are color coordinated with the power button that is always appropriate to the essay with which one works, can set the correct speed. Thoughtfully.
The turn knob falls ever on positive! Great to use with no problems (rotate) - that I know of the Gastro-shakers also different. A nice innovation.
The unit stands on suckers super stable on the working surface (then be certainly move annoying if you want to clean including for example.)

The following functions I tested, I mark with (+) = positive and (-) = negative.

(+) Shaker function. My favorite feature. The device is stable, easy to operate. (Also crushed ice Smoothie is easily small mixed.)
(+) Eischnee [with this lilac disc] - works very well. Takes a while but the meringue is beautifully appointed.
(-) To cut potato fries. Disaster! Potatoes are more tattered than that since coming out nice fries. I got this French disc used once to 3 kg carrots to chop, so I then can enter into the shaker (for smoothie). The carrots were chopped unusually small; That was in my mind, but wished could have been evenly sized pieces. Fact is -> This disc is relatively useless, except to use them for example potatoes, carrots, zucchini and grossly misshapen to chop.
(+/-) Batter function in large mixing bowl: My favorite marble cake - an ordinary batter (butter, sugar, eggs, flour, milk ...) - I finally get it prepared, but was not the elegant. - I have now tested once this feature and that's it.
(+) A spatula for scraping the bowl included.
A box accessories (?): It is difficult to assess the extensive accessories / rate is. The rather large box contains in addition to the mix engine-housing the 2 bowls (Shaker / bowl) and a complete box with attachment disks. On the one hand encouraging how flexible you (could be) with so many accessories, on the other hand a lot of parts that will be stored.

The parts to clean by hand and not in the dishwasher. Directly after rinsing drying is necessary if you do not want to have ugly water stains on bowls, lids and plastic parts.

Such a device is certainly not meant to last forever, but in normal household use but it should keep for several years.
Long-term experience I submit to, if available, or goes if something breaks early.

It occurred to me while some small negative points in the eye, and even though I have a food processor expected, I am about this shaker that can be used as a mixing bowl or rubbing / cutting, quite pleased. Full recommendation, especially if you are looking for a relatively compact device.
