Summary:
The clock is in appearance, quite weighty. The dial is overall not as great as it can be expected the extent of the clock. There are diving watches that are easier / faster to read.
In detail:
Positive
+ Very solid impression, through the outer shell of titanium carbide
+ Anti-reflective sapphire crystal
+ Tauchring is significantly increased above the upper edge of the glass and protects the sapphire glass in addition
+ Tauchring only against the clock, rotate even when wearing gloves, but a little stiff
+ Screw down crown (setting date and time) and screwed pushers (for visualization power reserve)
+ Long black silicone bracelet (accordion band) which fit over a diving suit
+ Bracelet clasp and bracelet strap made of black metal, probably also with titanium carbide
+ Overall very solid and high quality-looking appearance
+ Kinetic work takes place at movement on itself and runs quartz exactly
+ Fully charged after a few days gestation
+ Transition "un" clock accuracy after 2 weeks can not be determined, clock still running second in synchronization with the clock
+ Date is discreetly 4-5 clock, so all hourly indices available (facilitates orientation in difficult situations)
+ Luminous indices holds a night through loose
+ Differentiation of the pointer in the dark good
+/- 24-hour display, which could be / designed but in daylight use somewhat more restrained remote (s. Neutral-Negative)
Neutral Negative
- The pointer (Day) I would have liked more clearly in the differentiation. So the 12-hour hand is less than 24-hour hand, resulting in at least back and resist to confusion or irritation and I have to look at the clock at least a second time, because I have concluded an incorrect time. So eg. When the minute hand is just above the 12-hour hand, the 12-hour hand is then not seen and then the 24-hour hand (despite blue color) as a 12-hour hand is interpreted. But perhaps it is only a matter of habit.
Conclusion: The Seiko makes a many details thought out and very strong impression, and met many details that you would expect from a diver's watch and that on a processing level that would result in a comparable processed clock the Confederates to a significantly higher price.
