I had for some time prior to purchase me a light alarm clock, I could well imagine that the awakening of light could make getting up a little more relaxed. However, they have always been quite expensive. An offer by Amazon (49) I have but then slammed a few weeks ago. Since then I have the clock in use and can give me, I think, allow a qualified judgment on him.

Operation / Function:
The alarm clock has "touch-sensitive" buttons on the front that are backlit. When approaching the fingers of one of these keys, they dim to all. How this works, I honestly can not say, but it's a great feature! Even in the dark dim on the keys when you approach them with your finger.
All in all, the operation is very intuitive.
The light can be divided into ten steps, rules, and the clock display can be viewed in three, four brightness levels. Wen night disturbs the clock and who then dims to the lowest brightness level, it is, however, a day can not read.
The clock starts half an hour before the alarm input to the simulated sunrise and dims continuously up until the even brightness level is reached. This requires a bit of familiarization and a few experiments with the brightness, as one would like, if possible, only to wake up to the alarm and not five minutes before.
When alarm sounds, two preset naturals and radio. Both the birds singing and the forest sounds (with a dominant cuckoo) are great to wake up and very relaxing. Even the radio is not about to start at full volume on bawling, but dims at the beginning of quiet up to the set volume. The times when I woke up with a heart attack and then fell asleep again from exhaustion, because the cell phone alarm clock has begun full Lotte to squawk, are finally over.

Appearance:
The alarm clock looks very good, this can be allowed to stand so. He has also replaced at the same time my bedside light, as the brightness of the lamp can be adjusted in ten stages. Prefer to read, so I set the brightness slightly higher, I would like to be woken up, so I set the brightness down a bit before going to bed. Here maybe a little addendum to operate: A kind of "space" for the brightness at lamp or alarm would have been helpful because the manual dimming after reading then would be removed in preparation for the awakening.

Conclusion:
Unrestricted recommendation! I feel much more relaxed just wake up in the last few days. This means a completely different way to start the day. Even though I realize not learn in the "Sunrise" and only wake up to the alarm, I am of the opinion that my body subconsciously by the rising brightness prepared to wake up. It is no longer so thrown into the deep end when you wake up.
