All inputs have an illuminated switch that was my old 7 way distributor (King) not as the also very good. My laptop is otherwise not started whom were external hard drives drann and now you can all relax and do not always pull the plug. Have 4 times 3.5 inches and 2 by 2.5 inch hard drives drann and everything runs without problems. The old distributor, I now am Netbock appended to it does not bother when hard disks hang on startup.
