The battery is 42 mm long and has a diameter of 14 mm - this is the prerequisite for the battery in the electric toothbrush: "Braun Oral-B Professional Care 500" fits. The battery resembles a AA battery, but only 4/5 of AA length (ie shorter than AA). Note: There are also 4/5 batteries with 17 mm diameter - these are too thick and does not fit into the "Professional Care 500" pure (whether Z- or U-soldering tags version is the way matter).
I have revived two toothbrushes Braun with this battery. The conversion creates anyone who can use a soldering iron. For the first toothbrush I used about half an hour, for the second, only 3 minutes. When repairing, I have on a manual from the Internet based (Amazon unfortunately does not allow links in the reviews).
Braun, Philips and other manufacturers, the solder the battery in the housing should be ashamed übgrigens - so that they produce every 2 years new piles of garbage that should not be. Because the basic structure of the electric toothbrush is different to the motor control electronics and some hardly of a flashlight. And it Gibit also waterproof flashlights, in which you can change the battery in seconds.
I own pictures set, so you can see how the old and the new battery as looks.
