Since I previously had to replace some of the IKEA bulbs, I currently operate and Osram bulbs IKEA parallel. No difference to the IKEA bulbs of the brightness and color can be stated: very positive!
A difference between IKEA and these Osram bulbs, however, there yet: The spiral of Osram bulbs can not cross, but along attached in the vitreous. This allows a more even heat distribution and dissipation which leads to a longer service life.
When unpacking and inserting the bulb, make sure that the lamp is not touched with bare fingers, as Fingertapser in the vitreous may significantly shorten the life of such lamps. In order to avoid this, the bulb is packed in a plastic sheet with which they can be held during installation, in order to avoid direct contact with the glass. (Instructions on the package printed)
Overall, I am satisfied with the lamps. Whether the lamps will really have given 4000h / 4 annual distilling time remains to be seen. If so you have definitely worth the 2 premium over the normal variant.
