Review from the perspective of a longtime Gamers

My way to Playstation 4 was a bit rocky. Starting namely all had a Xbox One. With this review, I would like to PS4 from the perspective of a normal Gamers enter (no fan-boy, not a technology freak). If one disregards Hermes has always worked as delivery wonderful the Amazon. The console came well packaged in a matching box directly to the apartment door.

Packed the PS4 is in a pretty little box and since I have the Xbox One, my first thought was that the but can not be in there. But anyway a software update needs to be charged immediately after the start and the establishment of country and network, which is not so bad. More disturbing, this is more in the play mode, as the cable but is a bit short. Here I recommend to bring directly an extension or to plan his game sessions accordingly.

What stands out immediately and is titled by me as a 'wow' factor, are the fast loading times. It takes maybe until the PS4 booted 10-15 seconds. This is compared really fast. In addition, the Spartan menu is extremely fast and reacts immediately to each input. That excited me then very easy and playful touch with Japanese music in the main menu is also very nice!

After the update I have only my Playstation Network Playstation Enter dates to be able to increase further. This service I can only recommend everyone. Apart from that, you can not play online without, you get for a low monthly price 2 PS4 games (plus PS3 and Vita games) and exclusive discounts and demos. The service is really worth every penny!

I want to go on the site reluctant to many technical details. Fans, techies and fanboys know each other there anyway and the normal buyer not really interested in there for.

Important I think (again the wow factor) as liquid come the games over. The consistently P60fps (yes there are exceptions) are really impressive. Likewise, the Full HD resolution. The difference is actually visible from a certain TV size, written albeit lower than in many reviews, but it is there and you played once at 60 frames per second, you will never go back.
In addition to full HD resolution, the PS4 has the usual things such as Dolby Digital sound, Wifi and the possibility to expand the internal memory. Anyone interested in all the information, I recommend some other excellent reviews here on Amazon.

More importantly, I find the games and here offers the PS4 now a good number of full-price games and small item (Indie Games). Highly recommended are:

- Infamous Second Son (12-15 hours)
- Infamous First Light (standalone DLC)
- The Last of Us (about 20 hours depending on Spielgeschiwndigkeit including DLC.)
- Watchdogs (30+ hours)
- Rayman Legends (15+ hours)
- Diabolo 3 (readily here 50+ hours and more possible)
- Plants vs. Zombies (depending on the stamina, as online multiplayer game)
- Lego Marvel: Heroes Supe (20+ hours)
- Tomb Raider: Definite Edition

Since the indie title would exceed the extent of the review, I just want to say so much. There are many large and small pearls like Flower, Oddworld, Hotline Miami, CounterSpy, transistor or Child fo Light.

With all this Christmas upcoming Games selection has become really big and there are in this case first next-gen Highlights.

When it comes to the pure play, then the Playstation 4 is worlds ahead. It starts with the very short boot times, the extremely fast installation of the Games, the lightning-fast menu (which, however, also handsome would in my opinion), the more beautiful social networking strategy including photo and video uploading and good Twitch and Ustream Integration ,

I only use nor Amazon Instant Video on the PS4 and am both pleased with the local performance, as well at the Games. The console is easy fast and fun you just quickly to throw - even from the deep standby.

Are there any criticisms? Of course, would also be bad if there were nothing more to improve. It definitely missing a handful of apps and the next-generation of games is still too small. But these are more indie games available you could play and also the regular sales and deals on PlayStation Store (in games and movies, for example) are great. The controller is also significantly better in the hand (Redesigned shoulder buttons) and all in all, the console is a really round package. Highly recommended, full 5 stars!

I am not to be aware of are too long on certain things, such as cloud, processor, RAM, remote play, controllers lighting, pre-loading and playing while downloading not received the review. I hope nevertheless to have helped inclined buyers.
