The plug-in board has exactly the right size for me. I have only a few sensors that I want to connect to my Raspberry, and precisely because it fits well on the size, to me, there are the "normal" boards a little too unwieldy.

The terminals have a good grip, I also with the thin wire legs eg resistors and LED's no problem because nothing wobbles. I also like well the rear adhesive surface, as I built a small "craft board" where I've screwed a Raspberry, and next to it glued the board. I have connected the whole thing with a Kobbler
