the head make very robust. the fixing screws have held lenses reliable in initial tests my 70D incl. EF-S.

Over tests but I am not come out, because my head is too heavy for use lighter tripods on the go (monopod, gorilla pod, so to speak, in the "small cutlery") - "hardening" Target missed.

When using the large tripods I prefer the present there 2D / 3D Neiger (for the head was not intended.

Thus the head is a bad investment for me. If you just consider when buying. If you can live with the weight and only a cheap stable head examined the can securely access.
