The carrying case is designed for dogs up to 9 kg - theoretically. Have an 8 kg dog and for that she is not to be used. While it would work on the stability of the bag, but it's just not possible to transport a dog 8 kg on the handlebars of the bicycle, since this weight so affects the steering, it's just awkward to dangerous.
