The instructions are in German, well understood, kept short and simple. So was after charging the batteries a first attempt to fly no more obstacles.
The first flight test, I immediately noticed the fly is not only fun, with this device, it is also easy to learn. I first made the mistake that I wanted to trim the helicopter close to the ground. I recommend to look for practicing first a large free area to allow the helicopter to rise several meters high and only then, if necessary, to trim. I am a beginner fly the helicopter even in light wind - with no problems. At first, I am often crashed because I had panicked and wanted to bring the helicopter down easy. Flights to trees, house walls, etc. were not uncommon - no damage to the helicopter, super. I believe that it is important, when you know there's nothing more to turn the thrust bearing to minimize damage in safe. If you look at as a rookie in the first flights with up - down left - right, etc. content, you soon get a feel for the helicopter and new maneuvers can acquire. I still feel as a beginner, but I'm learning with this Heli fast and it's great fun to fly. He is also very fast, responding quickly and flies just lovely. That's why I recommend buying an additional battery (or more :)) because the time goes by very fast when flying and the charging time about 20 - 25 minutes.
Batteries: It is a small charging station for 2 batteries and a charger cable with USB port here. The two batteries are charged in about 25 minutes. Depending on the type holds a battery 6-10 minutes. The batteries are easy and quick to change at Heli, since the device is in an easily accessible location beneath the helicopter. Initially, the batteries were a little hard from the heli, it was with the time but better.
Remote control: fits comfortably in your hand. The display shows everything you need. From the feeling just right for me. It must in 6 alkaline "AA" batteries, which you have to buy yourself. I can not say anything yet about the durability of the batteries. There is a battery indicator. After this, I conclude that the battery consumption of the remote control is low.
Heli: As mentioned above. Small, lightweight and especially robust. Looks from the optics very good. Has very many crashes survived without damage - even against trees and house walls. In short: PERFECT
Addendum 13:01:15: Having stayed the Heli've used (even in winter) for some time now, here a recent review. The helicopter is still, in spite of some wild flights in trees etc., fully functional. On the subject of start: The Heli starts with me not completely straight up, but slightly offset. He always does this matter I do when starting a compensating movement. If the Heli once in the air, flying a pleasure and it stops also stable at just need. Since I had to remove the rotor of the helicopter once due to several falls, I recommend before to take a picture or to view the design exactly. There is no plan. So it will save you in the event of repair / replacement part exchange time. So far, I had to change not a spare part. I also recommend to buy more batteries (not cost much). If you fly away the fun is over quickly and you're lucky if you have spare batteries.
Have fun flying
