The installation if you come from the 7390 and the data takes is incl. The registration of all devices in 10 min. Does. That's almost boring;)

The web interface is exactly the same as with other Fritz! Boxes and one feels at home immediately.

Connections are up to the USB 3.0 the same as in 7390, so also here nothing creates confusion.
What I can also notice the positive side of the UMTS Stick to USB 3.0 no longer crashes and I can perfectly make calls over the stick with a Fritz! Fon. In 7390 yet often crash the UMTS stick is here come (USB port) and you had to remove the stick and reconnect it goes again.

WLAN transmits in the 2.4 GHz is more than 7390, am superior whether I should use the repeater 310 ever further. When 7390war it imperative that comes here along well 7490. 5GHz unfortunately I could not test.

Powerline adapters work perfectly together with the box.

The power consumption is between 8 and 8.5 watts, which is when I other router with AC-WiFi comparison a very good value. Especially when you consider that here a modem, DECT or a full-fledged phone system is also integrated. Here other routers are up to 10-11Watt

Wireless disconnections occur repeatedly, especially when tested with a TP-Link DD-WRT router as a wireless bridge I have insets recorded crashes repeatedly after a few minutes. (In 7390 that has no problems working)
When Notebook (Atheros chipset) my wife could hardly a YouTube video are correctly reproduced. Only after I! Powerline 546E've connected (Powerline to wireless), the Fritz went there. Since the notebook now the WLAN brings about the 546E.
iPad, iPhone, etc. but work, which can only mean the compatibility is not very good. The software will surely judge the passage of time

The web interface is despite a faster CPU is slower than on the 7390. As it was not but here is constantly in there playing for me is not so important. But since I expected more.

Reboot for no reason I had so far 2x, but that there was not in 7390. Again, a not very stable Software seems to be the reason.
Now it is stable at the moment.

As with most other AVM products, the software at the beginning is still in need of improvement, but as a longtime AVMler I'm used to that.
What the boxing but after a few months to have everything it has no equal.
That's why I look forward to any further laboratory firmware so that the box sometime as perfectly as the 7390 will (though I hope faster).

Each of the 7390 has no need to change, or should wait'm the software better.

Currently I have installed FRITZ! OS 05.60-26766 BETA.
The interruptions in the WLAN are gone, it works both the notebook and the DD-WRT router wireless bridge.
The loss of Internet connection was installed FRITZ! OS 05.60-26705 BETA also no longer recorded after.
As expected AVM works very quickly to the little problems of the box.
